अंगूठी का आंकलन

-बाबा महाराज ने जीवन उपरांत अंगूठी दिलाई आश्रम को

ब्रजद्वार (हाथरस)। अंगूठी देखकर बाबा श्री नीब करोरी महाराज ने कहा बहुत ही अच्छी अंगूठी है। जब मैंने चाहा कि बाबा जी महाराज को यह अंगूठी उतार कर दे दूं तो उन्होंने रोकते कहा था अभी नहीं। बाबा महाराज के गोलोकवास के उपरांत माँ वैष्णवी जी की प्राणप्रतिष्ठा के वक्त  वह अंगूठी आश्रय को काम आई।

        यह वृतांत बड़ा ही मार्मिक है और इस से बाबा महाराज के परम भक्त श्री राधारमण त्रिपाठी ने अवगत कराते हुए बताया कि बाबा महाराज के परम के एक भक्त ने एक बार किसी के कहने पर बताया किउन दिनों मैंने एक अच्छे वजन की सोने की अंगूठी बनवाई थी। साथ ही शुभ दिन देखकर उस अंगूठी को पहन लिया। कुछ ही दिनों में मेरे लिये वह साधारण-सी बात हो गई। कुछ काल बाद महाराज जी हमारे घर पधारे। एकाएक उन्होंने मेरा हाथ अपने हाथ में ले लिया और अंगूठी को देखकर बोले, “ओहो ! तुमने तो बड़ी अच्छी अंगूठी पहनी है।” महाराज जी का यह आचरण मेरी समझ में नहीं आया। पर वे उस अंगूठी को पकड़कर मेरी उंगली में घुमाते रहे कुछ देर तक और बीच-बीच में कह देते, “बड़ी अच्छी है।”

        मेरे मन में भाव आया कि महाराज जी को ही इसे अर्पण कर दूँ , और इसी भाव से मैंने अंगूठी उतारने की मुद्रा में कहा, "क्या महाराज..... ।” परन्तु महाराज जी ने मुझे मेरा वाक्य पूरा नहीं करने दिया और न मन में उठे भाव को ही व्यक्त करने दिया। तत्काल यह कहकर कि, “अभी नहीं।” अंगूठी मेरे ही हाथ में रह गई। परन्तु बाबा महाराज के शब्द अभी नहीं तो उस घटनाचक्र से संबंधित थे जो उनकी महासमाधी के उपरान्त घटित होने वाला था।

        सितंबर 1973 में महाराज जी ने शरीर त्याग दिया था। परन्तु इसके पूर्व श्री धाम कैंची में माँ श्री वैष्णवी देवी के प्रतिष्ठापन की पूरी योजना बना गये थे। 15 जून, 1974  के दिन माँ वैष्णवी देवी की प्रतिमा का प्रतिष्ठापन आयोजित हुआ। भक्त शिरोमणी ने बताया कि, "मैं भी वहाँ उस अवसर पर ट्रस्ट की मीटिंग में सहभागिता करने पहुँच गया था।

        प्रतिष्ठा के पूर्व श्री सिद्धी माँ ने अन्य बातों के मध्य से जब यह भी कहा कि, “ कैसी समस्यायें आ जाती हैं आश्रम में कभी-कभी। अब प्रतिष्ठा कराने वाले पंडित जी कहते हैं कि प्रतिष्ठा हेतु अन्य चढ़ावों के अलावा देवी के लिए कुछ न कुछ स्वर्णाभूषण एवं दान के लिये सोना परमावश्यक है। आश्रम में सोने का क्या काम? और यदि कर्मकाण्ड पूर्ति हेतु जरूरी भी है तो कहाँ से आये सोना ?” आदि आदि। मैं भी सुनकर उदास-सा हो चला आया ।

       उस रात एकाएक मुझे महाराज जी का वह छोटा-सा वाक्य “अभी नहीं”—याद आ गया। इतना ही नहीं, सुबह जब मैं सोकर उठा तो पाया कि अंगूठी मेरी उंगली में नहीं है— ढूंढने पर तकिये के नीचे मिली !

             स्नान के समय भी उंगली से न खिसक पाने वाली यह अंगूठी स्वतः उतर गयी उस रात।" अभी नहीं " का पूरा अर्थ मेरी समझ में आ गया था तब। सुबह के स्नान-ध्यान के बाद मैंने पूरा प्रकरण सुनाते हुए वह अंगूठी लाकर श्री माँ के हाथ में रख दी ।

 -Baba Maharaj gave the ring after life to the ashram

 Brijdwara (Hathras).  Seeing the ring, Baba Shri Nib Karori Maharaj said that it is a very good ring.  When I wanted to take off this ring to Baba Ji Maharaj, he stopped and said not now.  After Baba Maharaj's Golokavas, that ring came in handy at the time of consecration of Mother Vaishnavi ji.

         This story is very touching and it was conveyed by Shri Radharaman Tripathi, the supreme devotee of Baba Maharaj, that a devotee of Baba Maharaj's Supreme God once told someone that in those days I had made a gold ring of good weight.  .  Also, seeing the auspicious day, wore that ring.  Within a few days it became a simple thing for me.  After some time Maharaj ji came to our house.  Suddenly he took my hand in his hand and looking at the ring said, "Oh!  You are wearing a very nice ring."  I could not understand this behavior of Maharaj ji.  But he kept on holding that ring and twirling it on my finger for some time and in between would say, "Very good."

         The feeling came in my mind that I should offer it to Maharajji only, and with this feeling I said in the posture of taking off the ring, "What Maharaj....."  But Maharaj ji did not allow me to complete my sentence nor let me express the feeling in my mind immediately saying, "Not now."  The ring remained in my hand, but Baba Maharaj's words, if not now, were related to the cycle of events that was about to happen after his Mahasamadhi.

         Maharajji left his body in September 1973.  But before this, a complete plan was made for the installation of Mother Shri Vaishnavi Devi in ​​Shri Dham Kainchi.  On June 15, 1974, the installation of the statue of Maa Vaishnavi Devi was held.  Bhakta Shiromani told that, "I had also reached there to participate in the meeting of the trust on that occasion.

         Before the consecration, when Shri Siddhi Maa said among other things, "What kind of problems come in the ashram sometimes.  Now the pundits who do the prestige say that apart from other offerings for prestige, some gold ornaments and gold for charity are essential for the goddess.  What is the use of sleeping in the ashram?  And even if it is necessary for the fulfillment of rituals, then from where did the gold come?  etc etc.  I also got sad hearing this.

        That night, suddenly I remembered that little sentence of Maharaj ji - "Not now".  Not only this, when I woke up in the morning, I found that the ring was not in my finger - it was found under the pillow after searching!

              This ring, which could not slip off the finger even during the bath, came off automatically that night. I understood the full meaning of "not now".  After morning's bath and meditation, I brought that ring while narrating the whole episode and placed it in Shri Ma's hand.
