शिवखोड़ी जहां शिव जी का घर है

- भस्मासुर से बचने के लिए शिव जी परिवार सहित रहे थे शिवखोड़ी में

- शिवखोड़ी का एक छोर खुलता है अमरनाथ गुफा में

- जो शिवखोड़ी आता है वह शिवजी की कृपा पाता है

प्रत्यक्ष को प्रमाण की आवश्यकता नहीं होती। जिस प्रत्यक्ष से हम आपकी मुलाकात कराने जा रहे हैं वही सत्य है। यानी हम बात कर रहे हैं शिव की। क्योंकि शिव ही सत्य है और इस सत्य का एक रुप देखने को मिलता है शिवखोड़ी में। 

शिवालिक पर्वत की श्रृंखलाओं में स्थित शिवखोड़ी, जहां प्रकृति-निर्मित शिवलिंग और अन्य दुर्लभ प्रतिमाएं स्थापित हैं।

कहा जाता है यह प्राकृतिक गुफ़ा हर शिवभक्त के लिए बहुत मायने रखती हैं। जम्मू-कश्मीर राज्य के जम्मू से कुछ दूरी पर स्थित है रयासी। जहां भगवान शिव का घर कही जानेवाली शिवखोड़ी गुफा स्थित है। इससे जुड़ी सबसे हैरान करने वाली बात यह है कि इसी गुफा का दूसरा छोर अमरनाथ गुफा में खुलता है। यही कारण है कि शिवखोड़ी शिव भक्तों की आस्था का केंद्र बिंदु माना जाता है।

🌹आइये जानते इससे जुड़ा वृतांत🌹

वृतांत है ! हजारों पहले पहले सतयुग का। भक्तों से प्रसन्न हो वर देने में कृपालू भोलेनाथ ने अपने ही एक ऐसे भक्त को ऐसा वर दे दिया की खुद के लिए संकट खड़ा हो गया था और परिवार सहित यहां शिवखोड़ी में आकर अपना घर बनाया था। दरअसल भस्मासुर नाम के एक दैत्य ने कठोर तप किया और शिव जी को प्रसन्न कर वर प्राप्त किया कि वह जिस के सिर पर हाथ रख कर भस्म-भस्म कह दे तो वह भस्म हो जाय। बस फिर क्या था भोलेनाथ ने कह दिया तथास्तु! 

'वर' मिलते ही भस्मासुर पार्वती जी पर मोहित हो गया और शिव जी को ही भस्म करने पर आमादा हो गया। उससे बच कर शिव परिवार ने यहीं शिवखोड़ी में आकर शरण ली। उधर भगवान श्रीहरि विष्णु ने मोहिनी रुप धर उसके वर से उसी यानी भस्मासुर को भस्म कर दिया था।  ऐसा वृतांत है कि शिव जी यहां से परिवार सहित सीधे कैलाश पर्वत पर निकल गये थे। यह हैरानियत की बात है कि  इस गुफा का एक छोर अमरनाथ गुफा में जाकर खुलता है।

The most surprising thing related to this is that the other end of this cave opens into the Amarnath cave. This is the reason why Shivkhodi is considered to be the focal point of the faith of Shiva devotees.

 It's a story! Thousands ago of the first golden age. Pleased with the devotees, Bholenath, who was kind enough to give a boon, gave such a boon to such a devotee that a crisis had arisen for himself and along with his family, came here in Shivkhodi and made his house. In fact, a demon named Bhasmasura did severe penance and pleased Shiva and obtained a boon that if he puts his hand on his head and says ash-bhasm, he should be consumed. What was it then, Bholenath said, 'Aman!

 Bhasmasura was fascinated by Parvati ji as soon as he got the 'broom' and was determined to consume Shiva only. After escaping from him, the Shiv family came here and took refuge in Shivkhodi. On the other hand, Lord Shri Hari Vishnu took the form of Mohini and had consumed the same Bhasmasura from his groom. There is a story that Shiva ji went straight to Mount Kailash with his family from here. It is surprising that one end of this cave opens into the Amarnath cave.
