कृष्ण की पटरानी, यम व शनि की बहन के जन्मोत्सव की जय

-आजके दिन यमुना स्नान न हो सके तो जल में कले तिल डाल कर करें स्नान 

दीपावली के बाद भाईदूज को यमुना स्नान का विशेष महत्व 

ब्रज द्वार (हाथरस)। जिनके विषय में हम बात कर रहे हैं वह भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पटरानियों में से एक हैं। जिनका हम कल यानी 27 मार्च 23 सोमवार को जन्मोत्सव मनाने जा रहे हैं। इनके एक भ्राता यमराज हैं तो दूसरे दंड के देवता श्री शनिदेव हैं। जबकि पूरे जगत को जो प्रकाशित करते हैं ऐसे सूर्यदेव उनके पिता हैं। बताते हैं, स्वयं यमदूतों को टारनहारी माँ यमुना जी चैत्रीय शुक्लपक्ष की छट को इस धरा पर अवतरित हुई थी। द्वापर युग की फिर से एक बार यमुना जन्मोत्सव पर फुहार उड़ेगी और पूरे ब्रज में 23 मार्च को यमुना जन्मोत्सव मनाया जायेगा।

        *यमुना यमदूतन टारत हैं, भव तारत हैं श्री राधिका रानी।* विद्वजन कहते हैं कि यमुना मैया की उपासना से मृत्यु के उपरांत यमदूतों का भय सर्वथा खत्म हो जाता है। जबकि माँ राधेरानी की भक्ति करने वाला भवसागर से पार हो बैकुंठ का अधिकारी हो जाता है।

धर्मग्रंथों प्रचलित कथा के अनुसार एक बार जब भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने राधाजी से गोलोक से भूलोक में अवतरित होने को कहा तो उन्होंने बिना यमुना  सुखानुभूति ना होने की बात कही तो श्रीकृष्ण माता यमुना भी भूलोक में चलने के लिए कहा और माता यमुना का इस धरा पर चैत्र शुक्लपक्ष की षष्ठी तिथि को अवतरण हुआ। ऐसे पौराणिक वाक्य हैं यमुना जन्मोत्सव के दिन प्रात:काल यमुना जी में स्नान करने से महान पुण्य की प्राप्ति होती है, लेकिन जो भक्तजन यमुना में स्नान नहीं कर सकते वह प्रत: काल जल में काले तिल डाल कर इस मंत्र का ''श्री कृष्ण शरणम मम:'' जाप करते हुए स्नान करें। ऐसा करने से भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की कृपा जातक पर बरसती है।

*यमुना जन्मोत्सव पर क्या करें ?*

● यमुना जन्मोत्सव के दिन यमुना स्नान व यमुना आरती करने से महान पुण्य की प्राप्ति होती है।

● ब्रज क्षेत्र में यमुना मैया की बहुत मान्यता है, यमुना जन्मोत्सव पर यमुना पूजन करने से शुभ फलों की प्राप्ति होती है।

● यमुना जन्मोत्सव के दिन प्रात: काल जल में काले तिल डालकर स्नान करें। स्नान करते समय “श्री कृष्ण शरणम ममः” मंत्र का जाप भी करें।

● इस दिन भगवान श्री कृष्ण की पूजा करनी चाहिये। उन्हे भोग लगाना चाहिये और उस प्रसाद को सभी में बांटना चाहिये । कृष्ण जी के मंदिर जाकर दर्शन करने चाहिये।

● यमुना जन्मोत्सव पर यमुना नदी में दीपदान करने से जातक की सभी मनोकामनायें पूर्ण होती है। यमुना जयंती (चैत्र माह की शुक्लपक्ष की षष्ठी) पर भक्त निर्जल व्रत का पालन करते है और अगले दिन (सप्तमी के दिन) सुबह स्नान के बाद व्रत का पारण करते है। इस व्रत को करने से जातक शुद्ध हो जाता है और उसके सभी पापों का नाश हो जाता है।

 Special importance of Yamuna bath on Bhaiduj after Diwali

 Braj Dwar (Hathras).  Whom we are talking about is one of the consorts of Lord Krishna.  Whose birth anniversary we are going to celebrate tomorrow i.e. 27 March 23 Monday.  One of his brothers is Yamraj and the other is the god of punishment, Shri Shanidev.  While the one who illuminates the whole world, such Sun God is his father.  It is said that Yamuna ji, the savior of Yamdoots herself, had incarnated on this earth on the occasion of Chaitriya Shuklapaksha.  The Dwapar era will once again rain on Yamuna Janmotsav and Yamuna Janmotsav will be celebrated on March 23 in entire Braj.

         * Yamuna Yamdootan Tarat hai, Bhava Tarat hai Shri Radhika Rani. * Scholars say that after death the fear of Yamdoots completely ends by worshiping Yamuna Maiya. While the one who worships Maa Radherani crosses the Bhavsagar and becomes entitled to heaven.

 According to the popular story in the scriptures, once when Lord Shri Krishna asked Radhaji to descend from Golok to Bhulok, he said that there would be no happiness without Yamuna, then Shri Krishna Mata Yamuna also asked to walk in Bhulok and Mata Yamuna's Chaitra on this earth  Incarnation took place on the sixth date of Shuklapaksha.  There are such mythological sentences that taking bath in Yamuna ji early in the morning on the day of Yamuna birth anniversary gives great virtue, but the devotees who cannot take bath in Yamuna should recite this mantra every morning by putting black sesame seeds in the water, "Shri Krishna".  Take bath while chanting Sharanam Mam.  By doing this, Lord Krishna's blessings shower on the person.

*What to do on Yamuna Janmotsav?*

 ● By taking Yamuna bath and performing Yamuna Aarti on the day of Yamuna birth anniversary, great virtue is attained.

 ● There is a lot of recognition of Yamuna Maiya in Braj region, worshiping Yamuna on Yamuna Janmotsav gives auspicious results.

 ● On the day of Yamuna Janmotsav, take a bath with black sesame seeds in the morning.  Chant the mantra “Shri Krishna Sharanam Mamah” while taking bath.

 ● Lord Shri Krishna should be worshiped on this day.  They should be offered bhog and that prasad should be distributed among all.  One should go to the temple of Krishna ji and have darshan.

 ● By donating a lamp in Yamuna river on Yamuna birth anniversary, all the wishes of the person are fulfilled.  Devotees observe Nirjal Vrat on Yamuna Jayanti (sixth day of bright fortnight of Chaitra month) and break the fast on the next day (Saptami day) after morning bath.  By observing this fast, the person becomes pure and all his sins are destroyed.
